oppositional meaning

I tried to write something but meaning said “NO!” and walked away.

The words were anxious after that and didn’t know what to do so they wandered around and bumped into each other. Some sat down together and tried to talk it out but they couldn’t make any sense. So I told them where they should be and how to line up but I guess I upset them because they panicked and scattered into letters. Just letters. And when I tried to gather them back up, all their middles fell out and they were just marks.

And that's what happened.
